description: Draft a professional email with proper tone and structure
---
Draft an email about: $ARGUMENTS
## Instructions
1. Determine the email type:
- **Cold outreach**: concise, value-first, clear ask
- **Reply / follow-up**: reference the thread, be direct
- **Status update**: structured with highlights, blockers, next steps
- **Introduction**: brief context on both parties, clear reason for connecting
- **Request**: specific ask, context for why, easy to say yes to
2. Match the implied tone:
- Professional but warm for external contacts
- Direct and casual for internal team
- Formal for executives or legal contexts
3. Structure every email:
- **Subject line**: specific, scannable, under 60 chars
- **Opening**: 1 sentence of context (no "I hope this finds you well")
- **Body**: the core message in 2-4 short paragraphs
- **Close**: clear next step or CTA
- **Sign-off**: match the tone (Best / Thanks / Cheers)
4. Keep it short: aim for under 150 words
## Output format
```
Subject: [Subject line]
Hi [Name],
[Body]
[Sign-off],
[Your name]
```
## Constraints
- No filler phrases ("Just wanted to touch base", "Per my last email")
- No walls of text: use line breaks between paragraphs
- If the email is a reply, acknowledge the previous message in the first line
